FIELD: medicine, phthisiology and pulmonology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to assess the probability of pulmonary tuberculosis in the general medical network in patients with a preliminary diagnosis of community-acquired pneumonia. During the examination, the nature of the cough is established, the fact of being in prison in the anamnesis is taken into account, the level of hemoglobin and leukocytes in the general blood test is determined, and the age in years is taken into account. Then the probability of pulmonary tuberculosis — Ptb is calculated according to the developed mathematical formula. With a Ptb value of less than 0.4, it is concluded that there is a low probability of having pulmonary tuberculosis. When the Ptb value is greater than or equal to 4, but is less than 0.6, a conclusion is made about the average probability of the presence of tuberculosis. If the Ptb value is greater than or equal to 0.6, but less than 0.8, the probability of having pulmonary tuberculosis is high. When the Ptb value is greater than or equal to 0.8, it is concluded that there is a very high probability of the presence of pulmonary tuberculosis.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to quickly assess the probability of pulmonary tuberculosis in patients with a preliminary diagnosis of community-acquired pneumonia in the general medical network, which, in turn, will make it possible to start anti-tuberculosis therapy in a timely manner.
