SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wrapping paper for smoking products. The wrapping paper contains a fragrance carrier containing aromatic material and a carrier material containing aromatic material. In this case, the aromatic material, which is part of the carrier material, is released from the wrapping paper in response to moisture, saliva or friction. The carrier material is 2-hydroxypropyl-p-cyclodextrin. The aromatic material contains vanillin and ethyl vanillin. The weight ratio of vanillin to the total weight of the aromatic material is 15-25%, and the weight ratio of ethylvanillin to the total weight of the aromatic material is 5-15%.

EFFECT: wrapping paper of the present invention makes it possible to reduce the smell of tobacco on the fingers, and to create a smoking article containing such paper.
