FIELD: generating and storing electricity.
SUBSTANCE: power generation and storage device for powering electrical appliances contains a battery, a permanent magnet with pole pieces with electric windings superimposed on the permanent magnet, a step-up transformer, a capacitor, a semiconductor rectifier and wires. The electric windings of the permanent magnet are connected by wires to the battery through a step-up transformer, a capacitor and a semiconductor rectifier. A permanent magnet with pole pieces, electric windings is made isolated from the ground, located under the roadbed of the highway, with the possibility of charging the battery with the force of electromagnetic induction that occurs in the windings of the permanent magnet when the magnetic field of the permanent magnet is crossed by metal parts of the vehicle passing along the highway. In this case, the pole pieces of the permanent magnet are located on the same level with the roadway of the highway.
EFFECT: providing pulsed recharging of the battery from a passing vehicle.
