FIELD: pipeline valves.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline valves, control or shut-off, and is intended for use in various systems that require a reduction in the passage capacity of the channel or its complete overlap. The adjustable damper comprises a body made up of fixed disks with through holes rigidly connected to each other, and a movable locking element containing at least two disk dampers with gears installed in the body on a common axis. Each movable disk with a gear interacts with a rack and pinion drive with the possibility of rotation of the locking disks. At the same time, rack drives can be installed in the openings of the housing above and below the gears of the disk dampers, ensuring the rotation of the dampers in different directions. Rack and pinion drives can be installed parallel to each other on one side of the disk damper gears, ensuring the rotation of the dampers in one direction, while the rack and pinion drives are made with different lengths of gear elements, ensuring alternate rotation of the dampers.
EFFECT: improving the reliability of the adjustable damper and the accuracy of flow control.
