FIELD: fittings engineering. SUBSTANCE: cut-off device is used for stepless control of working medium consumption. It has external body with moving cut-off member positioned in it and internal body. Side surfaces of internal body are provided with symmetrically-positioned windows. Cut-off member is made in the form of sealing cylinder which is mounted on internal body for axial displacement. It is driven by toothed rack engaged with shaft-gear. The latter is provided with drive member-flywheel. External and internal bodies and cut-off member are made of tubes. Sealing cylinder is fitted with friction stop and torsional brake. Stop is thread-mounted in external body. Torsional brake is made in the form of 2-3 turns of spring. End of spring is secured in external body. It embraces hub of shaft-gear flywheel with its screw part. EFFECT: increased reliability and durability. 2 dwg
