SUBSTANCE: method of macroscopic panoptical visualization of lesions and calculation of the volume of damaged myocardium when modeling a heart contusion is as follows: the rat is anesthetized, the heart contusion is reproduced, after which the heart is removed and sections are made. They are stained with a 6 mM solution of nitrosine tetrazolium dissolved ex tempore in phosphate buffer, placed in a thermostat (t=37°C, exposure 15 min), then the sections are turned over, the solution of nitrosine tetrazolium is reapplied and kept in a thermostat at a temperature of 37°C for 15 min. After that, the damaged areas of the myocardium are gray-white, and the intact myocardium is blue-black. The sections are then scanned in color and in high resolution

EFFECT: method allows to determine the localization of the zone of damage to the myocardium and calculate the volume of the zone of damage using a graphic program.
