FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves heart progenitor cells placement on culture dishes at the rate of 100,000-1,000,000 cells per cm2 of the surface area, cultivation to form a microtissue at a temperature of 34-37°C for 12-240 hours in a growth medium, heart microtissue detachment from the surface of the culture dish, which is carried out by treating the microtissue first with a solution that removes divalent calcium and magnesium cations at a solution temperature of 18-37°C, then a neutral solution at a temperature of 2-4°C followed by mechanical microtissue detachment from the culture dish surface. The obtained microtissue is primarily used for treatment of heart diseases associated with damage to the left and/or right ventricular wall in myocardial infarction, by microtissue transplantation into the damaged zone during the phase of early dilatation of the left ventricular wall or within the first two weeks after myocardial infarction. After that, layer wound suturing is performed.
EFFECT: invention allows to use a simplified technology to produce high quality heart microtissue due to preserved architectonics and intercellular interactions.
