FIELD: aerosol-generating products.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrically heated aerosol-generating article. The electrically heated aerosol-generating article comprises an aerosol-generating substrate containing at least one aerosol-generating substance in an amount of from 5 percent to 30 percent by weight of the aerosol-generating substrate, a mouthpiece, and a paper wrapper surrounding at least a portion of the aerosol-generating substrate. The paper wrapper has a wet tensile strength of at least 5 N per 15 millimetres as measured by the wet tensile strength test.

EFFECT: prevention of rupture of the wrapper during removal of the aerosol-generating article from the aerosol-generating device.
