FIELD: vehicle batteries.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a reinforcing frame for an electric or hybrid vehicle battery and a method for assembling a reinforced battery. The reinforcing frame comprises at least: reinforcing frame fastening section, reinforcing frame hollow section, inner part and outer part. The reinforcing frame fastening section is made with the possibility of fastening to the storage battery and the vehicle body. The hollow section of the reinforcing frame is configured to surround at least the battery cells. The inner and outer parts have fixing and reinforcing sections. The fastening sections are attached to each other to form a reinforcing frame fastening section. The reinforcing sections define the hollow section of the reinforcing frame. The inner and outer parts are made of blanks of hardened steel, welded by laser welding. Workpieces welded by laser welding contain several sub-workpieces.
EFFECT: protection of battery cells from physical influences.
