FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective structures for accumulator battery casings. Said casing comprises an inner and an outer walls attached to a plurality of sides of the vehicle’s accumulator battery, and a plurality of cylindrical tubular impact absorbing members including a plurality of internal reinforcing walls. Above impact absorbing elements are attached to one of the inner walls and one of the outer walls. Above reinforcing walls of the impact absorbing elements come in contact with the inner surface of the cylindrical wall of the impact absorbing members in three spaced locations and intersect at a central location within the impact absorbing members.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide additional rigidity to the accumulator battery casing assembly.
