SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a reinforced carrier and a method for its assembly for a rechargeable battery of an electric or hybrid vehicle. The carrier contains: a carrier and a reinforcing structure of a sidewall. The carrier contains at least one side and main walls. The reinforcing structure of the sidewall includes inner and outer reinforcing components passing along the sidewall, facing each other, and attached to opposite surfaces of the sidewall, forming the reinforcing structure. The reinforcing structure includes at least two adjacent reinforcing hollow sections, through which the sidewall of the carrier passes. Each of these sections is made of an inner reinforcing hollow section of the inner reinforcing component and an outer reinforcing hollow section of the outer reinforcing component. Reinforcing hollow sections face each other. A longitudinal reinforcing section of attachment is located between adjacent reinforcing hollow sections, is attached to the sidewall, and is made of an inner reinforcing section of attachment of the inner reinforcing component and an outer reinforcing section of attachment of the outer reinforcing component. Reinforcing sections of attachment face each other.
EFFECT: increase in protection of a rechargeable battery from mechanical effects is achieved.
