FIELD: steels.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the manufacture of metal structures from structural high-strength steel. Welding is carried out with a consumable electrode in a shielding gas at a welding current of 180 - 300 A and a voltage of 15 - 40 V, the wire is fed at a speed of 4.0 - 15.0 m/min, the wire length is maintained in the range of 10 - 30 mm. The consumable electrode has the following composition, wt.%: carbon not more than 0.15, silicon 0.2 - 0.9, manganese 1.0 - 2.0, chromium 0.05 - 0.6, nickel 0.8 - 1 .7, molybdenum 0.05 - 0.4, the rest is iron and inevitable impurities.
EFFECT: following mechanical properties of the welded joint: yield strength not less than 650 MPa, tensile strength not less than 750 MPa, relative elongation not less than 8%.
