FIELD: metal structures manufacture.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the manufacture of metal structures from structural corrosion-resistant steels. According to the first option of the invention, the arc welding method is carried out with a flux-cored wire with a given charge composition at a welding current of 110–200 A and a voltage of 15–40 V, while the wire is fed at a speed of 2–6 m/min, and the wire stick-out is maintained in the range of 10– 30 mm. According to the second option of the invention, welding is carried out in a shielding gas with a consumable electrode of a given composition at a welding current of 90–180 A and a voltage of 15–40 V, while the electrode is fed at a speed of 1–6 m/min, and the electrode stick-out is maintained in the range of 10–30 mm. According to the third option of the invention, manual arc welding with coated electrodes with a given rod composition is performed with a short arc at a welding current of 70–140 A at an opening angle of the edges of the welded workpieces of at least 40 degrees.
EFFECT: proposed variants of the welding method provide high corrosion resistance of the seam and the heat-affected zone of the metal being welded.
