FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: edges of the eyelids are exposed to thermal effect, while at first a warm compress is applied to the edges of the eyelids, then the compress is removed and the edges of the eyelids are treated with ozonated oil with massage movements. In a particular case, olive or linseed oil with an ozone concentration of 0.3–0.5% is used as the ozonized oil.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of infectious and inflammatory complications and exacerbation of chronic inflammatory diseases of the eyelids in the postoperative period.
