FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to cardiology and medical genetics. What is presented is a method for determining the risk of developing myocardial infarction with ST segment elevation (IMeST). Patient is examined for the genotype by polymorphism rs2820315 of the LMOD1 gene. Presence of the CC genotype indicates an increased risk of developing IMeST. CT genotype indicates a low risk of developing IMeST.
EFFECT: invention enables detecting the risk of developing IMeST by detecting polymorphism rs2820315 of the LMOD1 gene.
