FIELD: gas and oil processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for the catalytic processing of propane and is characterized by the fact that in order to increase the degree of its conversion into the target liquid aromatic and gaseous olefinic hydrocarbons, potassium tetrachloroferrate is used as a catalyst in the melt, and the process is carried out by bubbling propane through a layer of molten catalyst in the temperature range of 500-600°C and space velocity of the feedstock 0.5-4.0 h-1.
EFFECT: process for processing propane with a high catalytic conversion.
