FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to strengthen the soil when creating the foundations of roads and railways. The method for making a stabilized road base consists in removing the vegetative soil and compacting it to obtain a soil base, after which a layer of ash and slag waste is applied to the compacted soil base with a thickness of 70-100% of the thickness of the road base being reinforced after burning coal of a fraction of 0-5 mm, followed by profiling and compaction of the applied layer. Next, a layer of ash and slag soil is obtained by mixing the applied layer of ash and slag waste and the base soil to a depth of 20-40 cm with simultaneous or subsequent moistening of the ash and slag soil layer to a moisture content of 15-25%. The modifier ACROPOL GSM and Portland cement are sequentially distributed on the layer of the resulting ash and slag soil at the costs of the modifier 2-2.5 kg/m 3 and Portland cement 130-160 kg/m 3, followed by their mixing with the ash and slag soil to obtain a layer of reinforced road base, after which the spill is carried out compacted road base for 2 days to prevent the hardened soil from drying out and ensure optimal moisture.
EFFECT: increasing the mechanical strength, frost resistance, plasticity of the reinforced road base, reducing the time and money for transporting the necessary components to strengthen the roadway.
