FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road construction and can be used to stabilize soils when creating bases for various flat and linear objects. Invention includes a complex mineral binder containing portland cement and polymineral powder, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: portland cement 50-70, polymineral powder 30-50, wherein polymineral powder is ground crushed stone of demetallised steel-making slag of converter production, wherein said ground crushed stone contains a mixture of mineral compounds: portlandite CaO⋅H2O, magnetite Fe3O4, brucite Mg(OH)2, calcite CaCO3, spurrite 2Ca2SiO4⋅CaCO3, calcium aluminate 5CaO⋅3Al2O3, spinel MgAl2O4, periclase MgO, calcium silicate Ca2SiO4; stabilized and reinforced road base and method of its production.
EFFECT: higher compressive strength and ultimate bending strength.
