FIELD: road construction.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to road construction and can be used to stabilize soils when creating bases for various planar and linear objects: the upper and lower layers of the bases of capital-type road coverings, coatings and bases of lightweight and transitional types, frost-proof layers of type road coverings, the upper parts of the working layer of the roadbed, railways and dirt roads. The modifier for slag-soil mixtures contains, by wt.%: synthetic zeolite 20-30, xanthan gum 5-10, superplasticizer C3 2-10, trilon B 5-10, calcium formate 35-50, potassium pyrophosphate 2-10. The method for obtaining a stabilized and reinforced road base in the form of a monolithic layer includes the following steps: a) the formation of a soil base by removing plant soil; b) applying a layer of crushed stone screening of a fraction of 0-5 mm of steelmaking slag of converter production to the soil base, followed by profiling and compaction of the applied layer of the specified crushed stone screening; c) sequential distribution of the above-mentioned modifier and Portland cement on the layer of the specified gravel screening, while modifier consumption is 1.5-2 kg/m3, Portland cement consumption 20-40 kg/m3; d) obtaining a layer of stabilized and reinforced road base by mixing the components distributed at stages b) and c), followed by obtaining a compacted profiled road base by compacting the said mixed layer and subsequent spilling of the compacted and profiled road base within 3 days. A stabilized and reinforced road base in the form of a monolithic layer containing a raw mixture of components, wt.%: Portland cement 1.5 – 2.5, the abovementioned modifier 0.1 - 0.3, the screening of crushed stone of the 0 – 5 mm fraction of steelmaking slag of converter production, and the rest is obtained by the above method. The group of inventions is developed in dependent points of the formula.

EFFECT: increase in the mechanical strength, frost resistance and plasticity of the stabilized road base.
