SUBSTANCE: method for arranging transitional zones of expansion joints includes the following steps: the surface of the transitional zones of expansion joints is cleaned of dirt and rust, then a two-component mixture with or without fillers is applied to the surface and levelled in uniform layers until the level of the expansion joint is equal to road surface dressing. The mixture is made of methyl methacrylate with polymerization initiator dibenzoyl peroxide, quartz sand, quartz flour and all possible fillers.
EFFECT: simplifying the mixing technology of the mixture, simplifying the laying technology, maintaining elasticity at sub-zero temperatures, several times longer operation, while the drying time of the applied mixture is reduced to 60 minutes to a state suitable for operation.
