FIELD: coding/decoding of images/video.

SUBSTANCE: video decoding method is proposed, comprising the steps of: parsing, from a bit stream, information by number relative to the number of slices having heights, in particular, transmitted in service signals in the tile of the current frame; based on the number information, the parsing the height information regarding the heights of the slices having specifically signaled heights from the bit stream; extracting the number of slices in the tile based on the number information and the height information; generating predictive samples by performing at least one of intra prediction and inter prediction for the current block of the current frame based on the slices in the tile; and forming recovered samples based on the predictive samples.

EFFECT: increasing image/video encoding efficiency.
