FIELD: forestry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of forestry, and in particular to methods for carrying out natural reforestation. The snow cover is treated in the forestry area before the seeds fall off from the seed trees by cutting furrows in it with partial removal of the moss cover and forest litter. Treatment of the forestry area is carried out in the winter period after establishment of a stable snow cover or on the eve of the mass fall of seeds from seed trees.
EFFECT: labour intensity of the natural reforestation assistance works is reduced, efficiency of reforestation and formation of the phytocenoses that are more resistant to pests and diseases improve.
