FIELD: fire extinguishing.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to devices generating fire-extinguishing gas (mixture of gases) due to combustion of a pyrotechnic composition, while said gas does not contain ozone-depleting substances. The inventions can be used as independent devices for extinguishing fires in conditionally sealed volumes, as well as in the manufacture of other devices using such a gas or a mixture of gases to create pressure inside a tank (module) to displace a fire extinguishing agent: powder, water or aqueous solutions and other compositions. In the first embodiment, the gas fire extinguishing device comprises a cylindrical body with a bottom, a cover and openings for the exit of fire extinguishing gas, a gas generating charge and a launch unit, the body is equipped with a cassette containing a cylindrical shell permeable to the gaseous combustion products of the charge, and a blank bottom. The cassette is connected to the lid and placed so that an annular gap is formed between the body and the cassette, while the gas generating charge is installed inside the cassette, and the holes for the exit of fire extinguishing gas are located in the cylindrical wall of the body. The cassette is equipped with a filter shell fixed from the outside, while the blind bottom of the cassette is made with the possibility of detachable connection with the cylindrical shell and is provided with two annular protrusions on the outer surface, outer and inner, and an annular gap is formed between the outer annular protrusion of the bottom of the cassette and the annular protrusion on the bottom. In the second embodiment of the gas fire extinguishing device, in contrast to the first version, the opening for the exit of the fire extinguishing gas is located in the bottom of the housing. At the same time, the cassette is provided with a filter shell fixed on the outside, the blind bottom of the cassette is made with the possibility of a detachable connection with a cylindrical shell and is provided with two annular protrusions on the outer surface, external and internal, and the device contains a perforated disk, with an annular protrusion on its surface, installed in such a way that that an annular gap is formed between the outer annular protrusion of the cassette bottom and the annular protrusion on the perforated disk.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of obtaining a high degree of purification of combustion products from a finely dispersed solid phase while simplifying the generator manufacturing technology and ensuring ease of use.
