FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for manipulation. A device for spatial manipulation with five degrees of freedom includes a rack and a platform, between which kinematic chains are installed, consisting of guides rigidly fixed on the rack, three-pair sliders and rods. The device is equipped with two-pair sliders, with one rod installed between each two-pair slider and the platform. The device is equipped with an additional kinematic chain installed between the three-pair slider and the platform by means of rotational hinges and consisting of an upper fork, an upper cross, a rod, a lower cross and a lower fork, on which the output element is rigidly mounted.
EFFECT: provision of translational and rotational motion of the output link.
