FIELD: food preparation devices.

SUBSTANCE: food product preparation device comprises a heating element for supplying radiant energy to the food preparation cavity, a controller, a control element and an interface. The controller is operatively coupled to the heating element to selectively supply electrical power to the heating element and to provide a heating profile for said product. At the same time, the controller is configured to switch between the first mode and the second mode to change the electrical energy supplied to the heating element to change the heating profile of the product. The control element protrudes from the body of the device and is operatively connected to the controller to change the electrical energy supplied to the heating element, both in the first and in the second mode of the controller. The interface is mounted with the possibility of removal on the body, and has an opening through which the specified control element protrudes when the interface is installed on the body. In this case, the controller is configured to switch from the first mode to the second mode after the interface is installed on the housing.
