SUBSTANCE: individual guide for performing osteotomy of the vertebral arches in the surgical treatment of diastematomyelia has a rigid plastic frame created on the basis of computed tomography data of the spine and manufactured using a 3D printer, equipped with a support platform that exactly repeats the relief of the dorsal surface of the bone structures of the vertebral arches, containing holes for fixing pins, made along the side surfaces of the guide, and located in the central part of the guide tube under the drill for osteotomy of the vertebral arches in the projection of the bony septum of the spinal canal with separation of the bony septum from the vertebral arches.
EFFECT: invention improves the results of treatment of pediatric patients with diastematomyelia by performing osteotomy of the vertebral arches in the projection of the bony septum of the spinal canal with the most accurate boundaries of its spatial position, reducing the trauma of surgical intervention and reducing the operation time.
