FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: pressure treatment of metals and alloys, in particular to a method for manufacturing gas turbine engine blades from an alloy based on Ti2AlNb aluminide. It can be used in the aerospace industry for the manufacture of parts for gas turbine engines. Upon receipt of blanks of blades made of an alloy based on Ti2AlNb aluminide, stamping is carried out with a degree of deformation of at least 50% at a temperature below Ttt by 50-200°C, where Ttt is the temperature of β↔α2 transformation. After that, quenching is carried out at a temperature below Ttt by 50-150°C with an exposure of at least 0.5 hours and followed by furnace cooling to the temperature of formation of the Ti2AlNb phase. Then they are cooled in air and aging is carried out at a temperature below Ttt by 200-300°C and an exposure of 1 to 36 hours. Or stamping is carried out at a temperature below Ttt by 50-150°C with a degree of deformation of 50%, after which aging is carried out at a temperature below Ttt by 200-300°C with an exposure of 6 to 36 hours and cooling with the furnace.
EFFECT: high mechanical properties.
