SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in oil, gas, chemical and other industries for closing the pipeline cavity during repair work. The device for fixing the stopper in the gas pipeline contains a support and a clay stopper. The support is made in the form of a housing and is provided with a fixed disk installed in the front part of the housing and a movable disk installed with the possibility of movement. Fixation of the movable disk is provided by a rod. The body is made of welded tubular elements. In the front part, the body is L-shaped and rigidly fixed with a fixed disk by a short part. The long part of the body is made with a transition to a U-shape, which ensures the installation of the body on the end face of the gas pipeline body. The movable disk is made in the form of a convex pancake. Mobility is provided by a hinge attached to the body. The rod is installed in the through holes of the U-shaped end of the body and the outer surface of the pancake.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of the device for fixing the stopper in the gas pipeline due to the adjustable installation and fixing the position of the device in the pipeline, excluding displacement deep into the pipeline when loading the clay stopper, by simplifying the loading of the clay stopper into the open space of the device.
