FIELD: oil refining.
SUBSTANCE: method is proposed for adsorption purification of used mineral motor oil, including addition of an adsorbent to the heated used mineral motor oil, characterized by filtering used mineral motor oil heated to 75°C through a layer of pre-dried adsorbent for 45 minutes at a temperature of 100°C, the adsorbent being in the form of particles with a size of 0.5-4 mm in the amount of 5% by weight of the oil; natural aluminosilicate of the gaize of Kamennoyarsk deposit of the Astrakhan Region is used as an adsorbent in oil purification.
EFFECT: improving quality of purification of used mineral motor oil by reducing the content of oxidation products.
