SUBSTANCE: invention is related to filter used to remove contaminants from various fluids such as hydraulic fluid, air, oil, fuel, etc. The central tube (100) of the filter contains a plurality of layers of hardened material, including the first layer with the first wavy strip of hardened material extending in the first given direction, and the second layer with the second wavy strip of hardened material extending in the second given direction. The first layer is in contact with the second layer and the first given direction is not parallel to the second given direction, thus forming a plurality of pores between them. The filter (200) includes a housing (201) containing an outer wall (202) and an inner wall (204), while the outer wall (202) and the inner wall (204) form the same longitudinal axis (206). The inner wall (204) defines a radial direction (208) which passes through and is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (206) and a circumferential direction (210) which is tangent to the radial direction (208) and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (206), and the inner wall (204) is at a distance in the radial direction from the outer wall (202). The body (201) additionally forms the first end (212) and the second end (214) located along the longitudinal axis (206) and the hollow inner part (216); an inlet (218) in fluid communication with the hollow interior (216); an outlet (220) in fluid communication with the hollow inner part (216) and a filter central tube (100) located in the hollow inner part (216).
