FIELD: mining
SUBSTANCE: underground mining of deposits of potassium salts and other water-soluble minerals, waterproofing flooded areas and mine workings. The waterproofing structure includes a watertight bulkhead, hermetically installed in the cross section of the mining, in front of which, on the side of the unflooded section of the mining, there is a hermetic control-air chamber, limited by at least one airtight bulkhead installed in the mine cut. The chamber is connected to the compressor by high-pressure pipelines for supplying air into it, which are located behind the airtight bulkhead. Indicator gas is supplied to the high-pressure pipeline to control the tightness of the chamber with the possibility of regulating its supply. The air control chamber can be equipped with a lock chamber with hatches to control the watertight bulkhead.
EFFECT: improving the reliability of mining isolation by sealing the body of the bulkhead and the contact of the bulkhead with rocks due to the creation of counterpressure from the unflooded area, as well as increasing the safety of operational maintenance.
