FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mining, namely to the underground mining of potash deposits. Method of waterproofing the mine workings of potash mines includes penetration of the cut-off stone under the concrete lintel, covering the surface of the cut with a waterproofing material and erecting the concrete lintel body. In the development of a possible brine, dry bulk waterproofing materials are placed to increase the viscosity of the brine, and then they create barriers from the filtering fabric to keep waterproofing materials from being washed away by the brine flow. Waterproofing materials are placed across the entire working width to a height equal to about 2/3 of the working height. If necessary, waterproofing materials are placed immediately in several workings with different absolute elevations, this creates the conditions for the creation of simultaneous brine from all workings.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the reliability of the waterproofing construction and to extend its service life by preventing the walls of the mine from dissolving and the possibility of brine penetration through the pores and cracks of the surrounding rocks.
