SUBSTANCE: proposed cell-free protein synthesis system based on Staphylococcus aureus cells, obtained by mixing the components of the reaction mixture in the specified order and volume ratio (vol.%); a method of protein synthesis in a cell-free system based on Staphylococcus aureus cells, including incubation of the claimed cell-free system at 37°C; a method of detecting inhibitors of protein synthesis based on Staphylococcus aureus cells, including incubation at 37°C potential inhibitors of protein synthesis in conjunction with a cell-free protein synthesis system based on Staphylococcus aureus cells, quantitative measurement of the synthesized protein by a luminescent or fluorescent radiation signal and determination of the ability to inhibit protein synthesis by the incidence of a light signal.
