FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: following is proposed: a recombinant thermostable protein endolysin LysAP46 with a molecular weight of 33 kDa which has an antibacterial effect by lysing cell walls and destroying biofilms formed by Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidirmidis and Staphylococcus haemolyticus, consisting of endolysin LysAP46 and the C-terminal oligopeptide GSRSHHHHHH and having size 298 a.o. and amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 2. Also the following is proposed: recombinant plasmid DNA pQE-70_LysAP46, which ensures the synthesis in Escherichia coli cells of the specified recombinant thermostable endolysin protein LysAP46 and Escherichia coli M15/pQE-70_LysAP46 bacterial strain — the producer of the specified recombinant thermostable endolysin protein LysAP46 obtained by transformation of the Escherichia coli strain M15 of the indicated recombinant plasmid DNA pQE-70_LysAP46.
EFFECT: invention provides effective synthesis of thermostable recombinant endolysin LysAP46, which has hydrolytic activity against cell wall peptidoglycans and destroys biofilms of representatives of Staphylococcus genus.
