FIELD: sealing caps.
SUBSTANCE: cap contains a body 1, an upper part 2 with a central hole 3 and a valve 4 in form of a membrane made of elastomeric material with a thin slot. To protect the container from destruction during transportation and storage in case of excess pressure inside the container exceeding the allowable pressure which occurs during fermentation of food liquids, while providing pressure inside the container that allows saturating the liquid with carbon dioxide, a sealing ring 6 is located in the upper part of the cap, protruding inside cap, the valve 4 is installed in the sealing ring 6 and is pressed with ensuring contact to the inner side of the upper part 2 of the cap, while the elastomeric material from which the membrane is made has a Shore A hardness of 55-80.
EFFECT: polymer screw cap is designed for sealing containers made of polyethylene terephthalate of various capacities and sizes for fermented products.
