FIELD: oncology.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining the metastatic potential of tumour neoplasms, according to which cells are extracted from tumour neoplasms, incubated with a culture medium, nanosized fluorescent probes are encapsulated, the result is washed, fixed, and sent for automatic microscopy. The resulting digital images are processed using an automatic algorithm, a quantitative value is obtained that reflects the colocalization of internalized particles with cells, on the basis of which a conclusion is made about the metastatic potential value.
EFFECT: simple, non-laborious, inexpensive, partially automated, quantitative and relatively fast method for diagnosing/prognosticating oncological diseases and, at the same time, determining the metastatic potential of biopsy/surgical material, as well as expanding the arsenal of methods for accelerated diagnosis of oncological diseases.
