FIELD: medicine; oncology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to predict the development of outcomes after a course of combination therapy in patients with oral mucosal squamous cell carcinoma (OMC). To predict outcomes in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the oral mucosa, blood parameters are analyzed before the start of therapy, including the method of acid erythrograms, in capillary blood, the time of hemolysis of the bulk of erythrocytes (min) and the volume of the fraction of young erythrocytes (%) are determined. When the time of maximum hemolysis of erythrocytes is more than 6.0 minutes and the volume of the fraction of young cells is more than 60%, the development of disease progression after complex treatment is predicted.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides for the determination of prognostic parameters that allow at the early stages of therapy, already at the time of diagnosis, to identify patients who require optimization of the treatment process.
