SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing a double-sided mirror with a body made of beryllium alloy with glass structural coatings of optical surfaces , in which the body of the mirror is preliminarily heat-treated in air at a temperature of 640-660°C for 10-40 minutes, form a structural coating of KF-11593 glass with glass 2.0-3.0 mm thick at a temperature of 640-660°C for 30-40 minutes, form a structural coating of TF-1608-B2 glass with glass 2.0-3.0 mm thick at a temperature of 550-570°C for 30-40 minutes. The time interval between the end of forming a structural coating from KF-11593 glass and beginning of forming a structural coating from TF-1608-B2 glass does not exceed 3 hours. Preliminary mechanical processing of coatings is carried out to a thickness of 0.9-1.1 mm, three-time cyclic heat treatment is carried out at a temperature of minus (80 ± 5)°C - (120±5)°C, with isothermal exposures for 30-40 minutes, then two-sided machining of structural coatings is carried out to optical quality and reflective coatings are applied to both sides of the mirror.

EFFECT: reduction in the labour intensity of manufacturing double-sided mirrors by reducing the duration of the mirror manufacturing cycle and expanding the temperature range of mirror stability.
