FIELD: technological processes; manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of vacuum-tight compounds of dissimilar metals with beryllium when making X-ray outlet windows used in X-ray tubes. Method of making a vacuum-tight outlet beryllium window includes making a beryllium disc, washers from silver-containing solder and metal holder, their chemical preparation, assembly of beryllium window, heating of window in vacuum and formation of permanent joint from it. Thin layer of transition metal in the form of a ring is applied on the beryllium disc on the side of the solder. Heating temperature is set to exclude change in aggregate state of washer from silver-containing solder and transition layer. Assembled beryllium window is subjected to cyclic compression along its optical axis.
EFFECT: invention increases vacuum density of the outlet window of the X-ray tube, increases the resource of the X-ray tube, increases heat resistance of the outlet window of the X-ray tube.
