SUBSTANCE: method for operating a water treatment plant comprises an anomaly detection step, which includes the implementation of the following measures: providing data characterizing the operating state of the device, providing a system for receiving and processing this data, implementing a learning phase at which the system receives the indicated readings, sets the learning time for a certain period curve of change in the current value, the implementation of the stage of applying the algorithm, in which the system receives in real time during a certain period of time the curve of change in the value of the current passing through the device.
EFFECT: early detection of malfunctions of the water treatment plant.
