SUBSTANCE: communication apparatus comprises: a receiver that, during operation, receives group information and configuration information for a BFR of a group of secondary cells (SCells), the group information indicating one or more carrier components included in the SCells; and a transmitter that, during operation, transmits reporting information based on the BFR configuration information, the reporting information including at least one of a beam failure detection (BFD) result of the SCells and new beam information of the SCells.
EFFECT: reducing the resource consumption for the beam failure detection reference signal (BFD RS) of the downlink and reducing resource consumption in radio communication over the uplink, as well as reducing the cost of measuring BFD for user equipment (UE) and simplifying the procedure of beam failure recovery (BFR).
