FIELD: biofuels technology.
SUBSTANCE: process for producing synthesis gas that contains carbon monoxide and hydrogen, according to which natural gas having a first carbon dioxide partial pressure CO2 is provided and processed, in particular, by pressurizing to form an input natural gas for thermochemical conversion, during which raw synthesis gas is obtained with a second CO2 pressure exceeding the first CO2 pressure, and at least carbon dioxide is then separated from the obtained raw synthesis gas to obtain synthesis gas and carbon dioxide, at least a part of which is returned and used in the thermochemical conversion of the input natural gas, while raw synthesis gas is passed through one membrane (M) from the side of the retentate to separate carbon dioxide, and the said membrane is permeable to carbon dioxide and is purged with supplied natural gas from the permeate side.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of synthesis gas production.
