FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: membrane module contains multitude of tubular membrane elements for transportation of oxygen, which contacts with side of retentate of membrane elements. Oxygen, which penetrates on permeate side, is burnt by means of synthesis-gas stream, containing hydrogen, which contacts side of permeate of tubular membrane elements, generating stream of reaction product and radiant heat. Catalytic reactor contains catalyst for acceleration of reaction of steam reforming and is surrounded by multitude of tubular membrane elements for oxygen transportation. Coefficient of visibility, representing part of all energy, surface-leaving energy, which reaches other surface, is equal or larger than 0.5.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to generate heat, necessary for supporting requirements of endothermic heating of steam methane reforming reactions.
