SUBSTANCE: following is proposed: a strain of Staphylococcus aureus OXA 45 which is characterized by a mec-independent mechanism of resistance to beta-lactam antibiotics and contains mutations in the pbp4 promoter region. This strain has been deposited with the State Collection of Pathogenic Microorganisms and Cell Cultures (GKPM-Obolensk) under registration number B-9986. A strain of Staphylococcus aureus OXA 68 is also proposed, which is characterized by a mec-independent mechanism of resistance to beta-lactam antibiotics and contains mutations in pbp1, pbp2, gdpP. The strains were deposited with the State Collection of Pathogenic Microorganisms and Cell Cultures (GKPM-Obolensk) under the following registration number: В-9987.

EFFECT: strains can be used as a control test culture to determine sensitivity to beta-lactam antibiotics.
