SUBSTANCE: method for identification of pathogens of nosocomial opportunistic infections and markers of their resistance to beta-lactam antibiotics and glycopeptides in women of reproductive age and newborns includes real-time PCR and determination of the following parameters: presence of human genomic DNA, total bacterial mass, presence of UPM DNA belonging to eight taxa (family: Enterobacteriaceae, genera: Staphylococcus, Enterococcus, Acinetobacter, a complex of species: Burkholderia cepacia, species: Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Stenotrophomonas Maltophilia), and 15 markers of microorganism resistance to antibiotics: mecA, vanA, vanB, blaTEM, blaSHV, blaCTX-M blaOXA23-like genes, blaOXA40-like genes, blaOXA48-like genes, blaOXA51-like genes, blaOXA58-like genes, BlaNDM, blaVIM, blaKPC, blaIMP, and the best antibacterial drugs are selected according to the received data.
