FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: Staphylococcus aureus strain SA0077 dap and Staphylococcus aureus A dap/40 strain, which have a high level of resistance to daptomycin, were deposited in the State Collection of Pathogenic Microorganisms and Cell Cultures under registration numbers B-9988 and B-9983, respectively (variants).
EFFECT: inventions provide an expansion of the arsenal of tools used as a control test culture to determine sensitivity to lipopeptide antibiotics.
