FIELD: smoking devices.

SUBSTANCE: inductively heated aerosol generating rod for use in an aerosol generating product. The aerosol-forming rod contains first cylindrical core part (30) containing at least one of first aerosol-forming substrate (31) and first flavouring material (31). The aerosol-forming rod also comprises second cylindrical core portion (50) separate from the first core portion and containing at least one of second aerosol-forming substrate (51) and second flavouring material (51). The aerosol-forming rod further comprises at least one elongated current collector (40) abutting in the lateral direction against the first and second core parts, without being associated with them, so that the current collector is clamped between the first and second core parts. In addition, the aerosol-forming rod contains sleeve part (20) located around the first and second core parts and the current collector and containing at least one of filling material (21), third aerosol-forming substrate (21) and third flavouring material (21). The present invention further relates to forming device (100) for use in the production of said inductively heated aerosol-forming rods, comprising core forming device (130), first sleeve forming device (120), second sleeve forming device, and longitudinal guide (140).
