FIELD: data transmission.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to modulation using Zadoff-Chu sequences. The technical result is achieved by the fact that each K character to be transmitted is converted into a Zadoff-Chu sequence of a predetermined length N and with a predetermined root r, and the frequency shift q which depends on the K character. Different root values may be used to separate individual uplink and downlink transmissions and synchronous or asynchronous transmissions.
EFFECT: increase of resistance to interference during data transmission.
