FIELD: wireless communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication and specifically to communication with division of a sequence of reference signals for dynamic spectrum division. To this end, method of transmitting reference signals includes generating a first set of reference signals according to a first radio access technology, generating a second set of reference signals according to a second radio access technology and performing downlink transmission of the first set of reference signals and the second set of reference signals. When generating a first set of reference signals or a second set of reference signals, at least one reference signal is generated and used as at least one common reference signal, used by both the first radio access technology and the second radio access technology. Periodic transmission of reference signals of SS/PBCH units allows UE to detect presence of cell and perform synchronization with this cell and serving this cell based on information, which can be detected and decoded by the UE from the content of the SS/PBCH unit.

EFFECT: method and device for communication with division of a sequence of reference signals for dynamic division of a spectrum are described.
