SUBSTANCE: combine harvester contains a stripping adapter, an inclined chamber and a thresher. Between the inclined chamber and the threshing machine, a device is mounted for preliminary separation of free grain from the combed heap, made in the form of a separating grate and mounted above it are two beaters installed with radial overlap, synchronously rotating with a phase shift, successively located, equipped with a set of radially oriented blades connected to the corresponding beater with radials. The blades are rotated relative to the axis of the corresponding beater by an acute angle and are mounted with overlap with the blades of the adjacent beater in width. For successive blades of each beater and adjacent blades along its width, the directions of the angle of their inclination with respect to the axis of rotation alternate.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of the pre-separation process from the heap of free grain entering the threshing machine.
